Meet Melissa
With more than a decade of clinical experience (with a focus on family, parenting, and mental health) and four years of experience as an ADHD and executive functioning (EF) coach, Melissa is in a unique position to understand the connection between the two. She brings a wealth of evidence-based training and clinical expertise to her practice including specialized certifications in ADHD and Anxiety-Informed Coaching, and intensive training in both Motivational Interviewing and Dr. Ross Greene’s Collaborative and Proactive Solutions approach.
A dedicated advocate for those facing life's challenges, Melissa is deeply committed to empowering clients to tap into their own strengths and motivations as they work through personal, academic, social, and behavioral challenges. She has built meaningful, collaborative, trust-based relationships with individuals across all age groups. She creates and implements tailored goal-focused plans and works to refine habits and routines. With younger clients, she partners closely with families to develop strategies that foster meaningful growth and works with educational teams to develop effective IEPs and 504 plans.
Known for her warmth, empathy, and professional insight, Melissa has earned a reputation as a trusted and caring coach. Clients appreciate her steady support, deep understanding, and unwavering encouragement as they build the skills needed for greater independence.
Outside of her coaching work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her daughter adventuring (aerial, acro yoga, rock climbing, paddle boarding, boating, dancing, and traveling to Cirque du Soleil shows) or hanging out at home (reading books, watching movies, and crafting).
